CPU (Central Processing Unit)

CPU of Snapdragon 870 is clocked up to 3.2 GHz while Kirin 9000 is clocked up to 3.13 GHz GHz. However, both the SOCs are equipped with A-77 cores which demonstrates that Snapdragon 870 is slightly better as compared to Kirin 9000.

GPU (Graphical Processing Unit)

GPU of chipset Kirin 9000 is equipped with Mali-G78 MP24 which has boost clock speed of 650 MHz along with 24 execution units while on another side Snapdragon 870 is equipped with Adreno 650 which is clocked up to 645 MHz with only up to 2 execution units. So for graphically intensive tasks, Kirin 9000 is better.

Energy Efficiency and Battery Life
