Review by Tenzys Tech
The CPU of the Mediatek Dimensity 810 is clocked at 2.4 GHz, while the Mediatek Dimensity 700 is only clocked up to 2.2 GHz, and both the SoCs have the same Cortex A76 cores. Because of enhanced overclocking, the Dimensity 810 offers a higher performance improvement and is hence a better alternative than the Dimensity 700.
Energy efficiency and battery life
As the facts are seen by the technical specifications of both the SoCs, the Dimensity 810 is built on 6nm process technology while on other hand, Dimensity 700 is built on 7nm technology. This concludes that Dimensity 810 is better than Dimensity 700 as the small size semiconductor indicates the more no. of transistors embedded in SOC (System On Chip) which is not only energy efficient but also significantly enhances the performance of the chipset.
Mediatek Dimensity 810
Designed for mid-range series of 5G smartphones with one of the latest lithography of 6 nm and overclocked than 7th generation Socs of Dimensity.
Mediatek Dimensity 700
Based on 7nm lithography and designed for 5G mid-range smartphones.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is MediaTek Dimensity 810 good for gaming?
The Dimensity 810 promotes outstanding perceptions in quicker app response, more FPS in games, as well as smoother, connected experiences with CPU frequency ranges up to 2.4GHz (Boosted Big Core Performance) – 20 percent faster than the traditional generation – and accelerated memory and UFS storage support than other conventional 5G chips.
Which processor is best Dimensity 700 or 800?
The 700 features a slower GPU and lower-clocked CPU cores (-200 MHz) and one less core than the corresponding Dimensity 800U. The chip also has a 2 core ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, a Wi-Fi 5 modem, an LPDDR4x-2133 memory controller, an AI processing unit (APU 3.0), and video de- and encoding. So comparatively, Dimensity 800 is a better option than Dimensity 700.
