Review by Tenzys Tech
CPU
The CPU of the Mediatek Helio g95 is clocked at 2.05 GHz, while the Mediatek Dimensity 700 is clocked up to 2.2 GHz, and both the SoCs have the same Cortex A76 cores. Because of enhanced overclocking, the Dimensity 700 offers a higher performance improvement and is hence a better alternative than the Helio g95.
GPU
Based on the specifications of both the GPUs i.e. Mali-G76 3EEMC4 and Mali-G57 MC2 of Helio g95 and Dimensity 700 respectively, there is no huge difference between the graphical units but based on the number of cores and clock-speed we can conclude that Helio g95 has 4 core GPU but has lesser clock-speed of 900 MHz while Dimensity 700 has only GPU of only 2 cores but have enhanced clock-speed of 950 MHz. But real-time performance, Dimensity 700 is better as compared to Helio g95.
Energy efficiency and battery life
As the facts are seen by the technical specifications of both the SoCs, the Helio g95 is built on 12nm process technology while on other hand, Dimensity 700 is built on 7nm technology. This concludes that Dimensity 700 is better than Helio g95 as the small size semiconductor indicates the more number of transistors embedded in SOC (System On Chip) which is not only energy efficient but also significantly enhances the performance of the chipset.
Mediatek Helio G95

Summary
Designed for mid-range series of 4g smartphones.
Mediatek Dimensity 700

Summary

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Which is better MediaTek Helio G95 or Dimensity 700?
Dimensity 700 and Helio G95 are the mid-range SoCs and based on technical specifications, Dimensity 700 has a 2200 MHz clock speed big core while Helio g95 has 2050 MHz only. Other than that dimensity 700 has a better GPU that is Mali-G57 with a clock speed of 950 MHz while Helio G95 has an ARM Mali G76 3EEMC4 GPU with a clock speed of 900 MHz only. Other than that Dimensity 700 is a 5G chipset whereas Helio g95 is limited to 4G. So dimensity 700 is the best SoC as compared to Helio G95.
-
Does Helio G95 support 5G?
The 5G connection is not supported by the Helio G95 CPU. The Helio G95 uses the same network infrastructure as the Helio G90T because it is a totally revamped Helio G90T. Only 4G LTE networks are supported by the G95. As a result, when compared to Dimensity or Snapdragon 5G chipsets, it is not futureproofed.
