CPU
However, if we talk about the various CPUs then Clockspeed is not only the parameter on which it relies but also includes the core generation which is used in that particular SoC. So keeping this in mind, the Snapdragon 8 gen 1 is clocked at 3 GHz which is a big core (performance core) i.e. cortex x2. Another 3 Medium cortex A710 cores are of 2.5 GHz and 4 Cortex A510 power efficiency cores of 1.8 GHz frequency.
While on another hand Dimensity 9000 consists of a big cortex X2 core which is clocked at 3.05 GHz. Another 3 medium Cortex A710 Cores clocked at 2.85 GHz and 4 energy-efficient Cortex A510 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. By going through the clock speed of their medium performance core then the Dimensity 9000 dominates over snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which implies that Dimensity 9000 total clock speed is 18.8 GHz while Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has only 17.7 GHz. Hence, Dimensity 9000 is the better in CPU performance.
GPU
In the context of GPU, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 consists of Adreno 730 with 3 execution units and 4 nm lithography. On other hand, Dimensity 9000 is equipped with Mali G710 with 10 execution units and built on 5 nm lithography. Apart from it Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is better in floating-point computation with 1800 GFlops power as compared to Dimensity 9000 which has 1170 GFlops power. So based on the configuration it concludes that Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is better as compared to Dimensity 9000.
Memory
In processors, RAM is an essential part and the quality of RAM signifies the different scenarios of multitasking and user experience. So based on the Frequency of RAM, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has only 3200 MHz while Dimensity 9000 has 3750 MHz which implies that Dimensity 9000 has better memory performance as compared to its competitor Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Q n A
Which is better Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Dimensity 9000?
Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 both the SoCs have neck-to-neck competition in which Dimensity 9000 is better in some parameters like Connectivity, CPU, and Memory. While Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has better GPU, display, and ISP(Image Signal Processing) capabilities. So both the SoCs are good but the selection will differ based on the requirement of the users.
Is Dimensity better than Snapdragon?
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon is better for various application support and optimized for various apps and also the lead performer for the past couple of years. But keep in mind the improvements then Mediatek’s Dimensity series (Dimensity 9000, Dimensity 1000+, etc.) build itself a good competitor against the snapdragon series of Qualcomm. The latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 faced great competition from Mediatek’s Dimensity 9000 SoC.
