The POCO F5 Pro and POCO F5 will be the two versions in POCO’s next smartphone series or in Poco F5 Series. The Xiaomi-backed business has been dropping hints about the debut, and now it has officially announced the time. The business just revealed that the POCO F5 would debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 CPU, which precedes the announcement.
Poco F5 Pro was recently detected on Geekbench, and more recently, a new Xiaomi phone with the product number 23049PCD8G surfaced with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 CPU and 12GB RAM. We anticipate this to be the vanilla Poco F5.
Later, it was established that the device in question was the Poco F5, which would also be the first phone to use this 7-series processor in India.
The business claims that the new processor would perform 50% better overall than the previous Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, 13% better in terms of power efficiency, and 2x better in terms of AI performance.
The Poco F5’s specifications are disturbingly similar to those of the China-only Redmi Note 12 Turbo.

India launch date of POCO F5 series
On May 9, the POCO F5 smartphone will go on sale in India. The POCO F5 Pro will be included in the worldwide launch, which also happens to be on the same day. Only the POCO F5 has been teased to launch in India, and the time is set for 5.30 pm, according to a Flipkart microsite for the device. Both phones will be unveiled during the worldwide launch event, it has been confirmed. According to tipster Yogesh Brar, who has also revealed the POCO F5’s specifications, the POCO F5 is expected to start around Rs 28,000 or Rs 29,000 for the base model in India.
The POCO F5 is also seen in the Flipkart teaser, and its white color and rebranded Redmi Note 12 Turbo appearance give the device away. Furthermore, the Redmi K60 might be rebranded as the POCO F5 Pro.
