Xperia 1 V Memory Specifications Unveiled | Xperia 1 V Update | Major Design Overhaul Anticipated
A well-known leaker revealed the RAM and storage capacity requirements for the Sony Xperia 1 V. In the meantime, a fresh rumor regarding Sony’s illustrious Xperia brand has surfaced, suggesting that the company may eventually revert to a design similar to the Ambient Flow style seen on phones like the Xperia XZ2.
Some fans are curious about the RAM and storage options that Sony picked for its recently released Xperia 1 V because the company hasn’t disclosed all the details. While some could argue that this doesn’t important and that what counts is how much, there are genuinely significant distinctions across memory type generations. However, ZACKBUKS has allayed any worries by reassuring everyone that the Sony Xperia 1 V’s memory requirements are LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0.
Starting with RAM, Micron Technology claims that LPDDR5X can handle a maximum transfer rate of 8.533 Gbps, which is 33% faster than the maximum rate of 6.4 Gbps for LPDDR5. Owners of the Sony Xperia 1 V benefit from a more snappy operating system with the added benefit of some battery life savings because of the newer RAM technology’s higher power efficiency (“up to 24%”). As for UFS 4.0 storage, it surpasses UFS 3.1’s 2,100 MB/s (read) and 1,200 MB/s (write) rates with sequential read and write speeds of up to 4,200 MB/s and 2,800 MB/s, respectively.
While the brand-new Xperia 1 V may technically boast these attractive system benefits over its forerunner, the same cannot be said about its appearance. Since the beginning of the Xperia series, Sony has maintained it’s signature tall, slim, and flat design. While this makes the Xperia line stand out from the competition and does have an aesthetic appeal overall, it would be wonderful to see the business perhaps vary things up a little. Sony may be getting ready to surprise Xperia enthusiasts with a design revamp, according to a flimsy rumor spread by a flimsy source.
According to the information provided (see details below), Sony may be aiming to reintroduce a smartphone design similar to the Xperia XZ2, which featured the “Ambient Flow” concept. Because of its curved sides and back, the phone essentially offered a little bit more comfort in the hand, but it also caused it to bounce on flat surfaces and essentially resemble the majority of other smartphones on the market. A “new” Xperia (Xperia 7, Xperia Pro I-II, Xperia Ace IV?) is said to have a curved design similar to those with Ambient Flow, however, it is unclear if this modification will apply to all next Xperia phones or just one specific model.
