Despite all the speculation, Vivo has finally officially announced the country’s launch date for its high-tech camera phones. Official India Launch confirmed for Vivo X90 Series in April
The Vivo X90 will be officially launched in India on April 26, 2023. Vivo’s official India website has also been updated with the product page for the upcoming premium X series phones. Vivo has only given the India launch date for the X90 and X90 Pro. In the next few days, the brand may update the product page with more features and specifications.
The official teaser has so far kept the pricing information a secret as well. However, we predict that the first launch price will fall between Rs. 60,000 and Rs. 70,000. This is only an estimated pricing range, and Vivo may decide to charge a different price when the X90 and X90 Pro are released. The specification sheet will be the same as the foreign versions. No modifications to the design or specification sheet are anticipated. Following are a few basic details about the X90 and the X90 Pro.
Vivo X90 Series Performance
The only physical changes between the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro are their similar feature sets. The same chipset, the octa-core Dimensity 9200 chipset coupled with Immortalis-G715 GPU, powers the Vivo X90 series. Both of these new Vivo X series phones will be able to hold up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR RAM. Only the fast charging rates of 120W on both Vivo X90 series phones are the same, except for the processor.
Vivo X90 Series Display
The 6.78-inch AMOLED display panel that comes with the standard Vivo X90 has a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels. Although it boasts a greater 2K screen resolution, the Vivo X90 Pro also has the same screen size and panel. Both the X90 and the X90 Pro’s screens support HDR 10+ and 120 Hz refresh rates.
Vivo X90 Series Camera
The Vivo X series is widely recognized for its powerful camera technology, and the latest range doesn’t disappoint. The standard Vivo X90 has a 12MP depth lens with an f/2.0 aperture, a 50MP primary Sony IMX866 lens with an f/1.75 aperture, and a 2x optical zoom. Last but not least, the X90’s back panel has a second 12MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture.
In comparison to the standard model, the Vivo X90 Pro’s triple-lens camera hardware has been slightly modified. A 50MP primary camera with an f/1.75 aperture, a 12MP depth lens, a second 50MP depth lens with a 1.6 aperture, and a 12MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture are all included in the Vivo X90 Pro.
Vivo X90 Series Battery
The battery capacity of the standard Vivo X90 is 4,819 mAh, while the battery capacity of the Vivo X90 Pro is a whopping 4,870 mAh. Both of these phones offer 120W rapid wired charging, as was already reported.
